North East monsoon is weak for almost a week now and that means more and more states are beginning to get into deficit zone. Today except Coastal Karnataka every other region is in deficit.  Following are the top 5 wettest places in the region.

  • 36 CITIES SAW A DROP IN TEMPERATURE COMPARED TO YESTERDAY OUT OF 66 CITIES WHERE THE TEMPERATURE WAS MEASURED, COMPARED TO 28 CITIES YESTERDAY.
  • There was a rapid fall in temperatures in Jammu Kashmir, Punjab and Haryana. Also temperatures fell marginally in Jharkhand, Bihar and North East.
  • There was a rapid rise in temperatures seen in Maharashtra, Telangana and Orissa. Temperatures continue to be above normal in these states plus UP and Bihar.
  • Jaisalmer in Rajasthan, Rajkot in Gujarat and Gulmerg in Kashmir recorded 4 degrees below normal temperature while Jabalpur in Madhya Pradesh recorded 7 degrees above normal. Hyderabad has temperature 5 degrees above normal.

  2. Haryana and Delhi -2.4
  3. Jharkhand -1.7
  4. Bihar -1.5
